For a year they devoted themselves to prayer, studying possibilities and challenges, and trying to listen to the greatest number of pious and faithful Christians about what made their hearts burn. Also during this year, God was brought families that got together and joined their generous hands to work and support to make the project viable.

Exactly a year later a great adventure began!

A group of families were taking their first steps in Home Schooling, creating bonds and dreaming together of establishing a true Christian school. God was faithfully confirming the task He had entrusted, either with offerings, volunteers, and even results! All the boys and girls who take official exams in the public schools they are enrolled in have been successful! What a great blessing!

International contacts were established in search of support, training and materials. Two team members flew to Swindon (UK) for the Professional Training Course taught by Christian Education Europe.

This gave rise to the possibility of participating in a global meeting in Prague (CZE) with representatives from various organizations linked to Christian Education and Individualized Teaching Worldwide. That was where the first approaches to the possibility of not only establishing a first Christian school in Portugal but also establishing an agreement for the translation and adaptation of a Christian curriculum emerged, for all levels of education and all subjects! To confirm this possibility and plan a future work, in 2018 we traveled to Durban (SA), with the perspective of confirming a partnership with Accelareted Education Entreprises, with a view to translate and adapt their materials in order to serve and bless not only Portuguese Christian families but also all those spread across Portuguese Speaking Countries in Africa.
